Appledore - a delightful unspoilt fishing village of pretty narrow cobbled lanes with fascinating little shops, inns and art & craft galleries.

Barnstaple- the oldest and largest market town in North Devon, nestling in the Taw valley. The modern Green Lanes Shopping Centre complements the traditional Pannier and Craft Markets held since 1855.

Nearby Saunton Sands - miles of sand!

Bideford - a thriving medieval market town, full of charm and history, offering a selection of both specialised and more general shops. There are many narrow streets, largely untouched by time, and both guided tours and individual walking trails are available. www.bidefordswebsite.co.uk
