Location

Cory and Coryana Cottages are conveniently located in a quiet lane which is just a short stroll to the centre of Woolsery. The village is set in the North Devon countryside and is ideally located for easy access to a number of local amenities and places of interest to which links are provided on this site for instant viewing. The Farmers Arms is a traditional thatched pub serving excellent food. There is also a village shop/Post Office, a sports centre for tennis etc and a church and Methodist chapel.

A three minutes drive takes you to a country holiday club offering indoor swimming, keep-fit facilities, games room etc. A ten minutes drive and you can play a round of golf at an excellent 18 hole golf courses located nearby at Hartland Forest Country Club or further afield visit the Royal North Devon Golf Club next to the sea at Westward Ho! Just three miles and you are into the famous cobbled seaside village of Clovelly.

An abundance of other local attractions include the Milky Way, Killarny Springs, the Big Sheep and Hartland Abbey not to mention the designated wildlife area of Lundy Island* in the Bristol Channel accessible by boat from the quay at Bideford. Explore the unspoilt local countryside and villages on drives along the numerous quiet country lanes or laze on the beaches.

The village is 2 miles from the A39 coast road with the delightful town of Bideford 15 minutes drive to the east and Exmoor beyond; drive westward to the attractions of Cornwall including the famous Eden Project. To the south lies Dartmoor.

Enjoyable country walks include the beautiful N Devon coastal path just 3 miles away that takes you onto the spectacular cliffs at Hartland Quay and Morwenstow.
